Recognized as one of the top construction project managers in the nation and a specialist in the medical/healthcare field, Mr. Snell has more than 30 years of practical experience. Based in Atlanta, he leads Newmark’s Project Management Services in the southeastern markets. Mr. Snell is involved in all phases of project management for Newmark clients including project development, build-to-suit, tenant improvement, relocation management and consulting services. He has a broad base of construction experience both as a general contractor and construction manager for property owners.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Snell was employed by Skanska USA Building Inc. (formerly Beers Construction Company) where he oversaw all construction projects for the Georgia Healthcare Group. This group was a leader in the industry; successfully completing many sophisticated, phased renovation projects, major additions, medical office buildings with tenant build-outs and parking decks. This continued excellence led to significant repeat program work at multiple hospital sites including Piedmont Healthcare System, Atlanta, GA; WellStar Health System, Marietta, GA; and Kaiser Permanente, East Coast USA. Mr. Snell’s rich and diversified background also includes major projects for high-rise residential, assisted living/retirement facilities, data centers and the Department of the Army. These assignments have led to the management of over $1 billion in construction projects during his career. Prior to Skanska, he was employed by Laing Properties and R&D Constructors, Inc.

Mr. Snell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in banking and finance from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. He is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), the Georgia Hospital Association and the Georgia Society of Hospital Engineers.
