Edmund Najera joined Newmark Capital Markets in 2016 as a Vice Chairman in the San Francisco Silicon Valley office. Throughout his 20-year career, Najera has focused on office and R&D investment sale advisory throughout the Silicon Valley and Peninsula markets, completing approximately $16 billion in transactions.

Najera joined Newmark’s Capital Markets group after serving as a Managing Director at the San Francisco office of HFF. Prior to HFF, Najera was the second partner at Eastdil Secured in Silicon Valley, where he served as Senior Vice President for nearly 10 years. During his tenure there, he was part of the team that represented Hudson Pacific in acquiring Blackstone Group LP’s 8.2 million-square-foot Silicon Valley portfolio for $3.5 billion.

Prior to Eastdil Secured Najera worked in the San Francisco office of Grubb & Ellis, now a part of Newmark.
